My great grandfather Michael Haverty was listed as a Galway farmer in the census all though I ascertained that he resied with his chidren in Co Kildare.I believe that he came to Wentworth and worked for earl Fitzwilliam. My grandmother (deceased) often told how Fitzwilliam educated my Irish relatives and that Michael died in a riding accident and was buried at Wentworth with full military honours. I really would appreciate any information at all as to this if anyone can help please? Thank you.

Hi,

My Grandfather, Jeremiah Taylor was a cabinet maker on the Coollattin estate. I am interested in any advice on how I might discover whether or not his family originally travelled over to Ireland from the Yorkshire estate. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks

One of my ancestors Josias Peisley, Pasley was possibly overseer of the Rockingham Estate, @ Raheengraney, Co. Wicklow in the early 1700's. Do you have information on Josias? Regards Judi Johnston

Any documents or information relating to Wentworth or the historical families would be greatly appreciated thank you. You can either scan it & keep the original or if you really don't want it I can email you a postal address if you prefer?

Hi

I have a post card dated December 1948 which details the schedule of "Lord Fitzwilliams Coollattin Hunt.

Would you like it as I have no use for it?

Many thanks
