The Church Conservation Trust is involved in a research project that is based around the history and heritage of the graveyard at Wentworth Old Church. The Church Conservation Trust realises that to the surrounding community, the graveyard was always and still is, as important to them as the church.

At the moment they are researching the graveyard’s history, which next year will be used to bring this history alive. They would love to hear from anybody who has an old family photograph or perhaps a family tale that would enable them to tell the “Stories in Stone” that are hidden in this very special graveyard.
